About me

I grew up surrounded by mountains in Slovenia, and it was there, in a ceramic atelier, that I first put my hands in clay. I told myself it would be a beautiful hobby. Then I spent every day doing it. Forming basin prototypes, testing glazes, inviting friends for creative evenings, working with clay alongside my own children. It stopped being only a hobby.

Somewhere along the way I fell in love with interiors too, not the styled, perfect kind, but the ones that feel lived in and warm. Spaces where natural materials and organic shapes tell a quiet story. That is where my ceramics found their home: a handformed basin, a set of tiles, something made with intention that blends into a space and makes it feel more like itself.

And then there are children. They are one of my greatest inspirations and honestly one of my biggest drives. They remind us of the things that matter most, the things we slowly forget while growing up. But is that really supposed to happen? I will skip the philosophical part for now :)

What I do believe, completely, is that one of the most beautiful things we can do for a child is empower them. Teaching them to form something with their hands, to choose their colours, to fire a piece and hold it afterwards. That builds something in them that lasts far longer than the object itself.

That is why Felarti exists. Clay, interiors, children, and the quiet belief that making things with intention changes everything.

Love,
Eli xx
